Ashley Adair is an Extension Organic Agriculture Specialist at Purdue University specializing in organic agriculture education and outreach covering a broad spectrum of crops, from grains to specialty crops. She is also an experienced reviewer for NCR-SARE Graduate Student Grants.

About NCR-SARE Review Committees
NCR-SARE’s review committees review proposals and make recommendations to the Administrative Council, which can be a rewarding and educational experience for those interested in sustainable production and the grant-making process.
Each NCR-SARE review committee has varying requirements, but members are generally required to review proposals, discuss them on a conference call or in person, and provide recommendations to the Administrative Council. An NCR-SARE review committee member may not apply to that particular grant program while serving on that committee.
Review committee members must live and work within the geographic area of the 12 states of the North Central SARE region: IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, and WI.

In addition to completing the online form, you will be asked to upload a resume, curriculum vitae (CV), or short bio that includes your relevant experience. This helps our team assemble review committees with the necessary skills and knowledge. Recommendations can also be emailed to ncrsare@umn.edu. We will acknowledge receipt of the materials and reply with the outcome of the selection process.
