Ohio SARE offers mini-grants and travel scholarships to help develop the sustainable agriculture competencies of agricultural professionals such as extension educators, Natural Resource Conservation Service Staff, state and federal agency workers, and educators in the profit and not-for-profit sectors.
- Ohio SARE offers mini-grants of up to a maximum of $500 depending upon funding available. These funds may be used for demonstration projects but must also include a significant professional development component.
- Ohio SARE also offers professional development travel scholarships of up to $1000 per year, depending on funding. These are for agricultural professionals to attend conferences to increase their knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices.
